Some Stories Begin with a Dog
My journey in the world of dogs began long before I could remember it myself.
When I was two years old, my parents brought home a dog "for two weeks." That dog stayed for life, and so did my love for dogs. Since then, I have never spent a single day without them.
I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, specializing in small companion animals. My passion for dogs has always combined practical experience, education, and a deep curiosity about breeding, genetics, and canine behavior. Over the years, I completed professional training as a canine expert, studied handling, and became actively involved in the dog show world.
My kennel name, was officially registered in 2008. Throughout the years, I have lived with and bred several breeds, including Siberian Huskies, English Bulldogs, and Yorkshire Terriers. Alongside breeding, rescue work has always been an important part of my life. Many homeless, abandoned, and neglected dogs have passed through my home, and several remain with me today as beloved family members.
In 2021, a Peruvian Hairless Dog entered my life and changed my plans completely. After the loss of my last bulldog, I spent more than a year searching for a breed that would truly speak to me: intelligent, charismatic, unique, and deeply connected to its history.
What I found was much more than a breed.
In 2022, I relocated to Serbia, where my passion for dog shows and breeding found new energy and purpose. Soon after, another ancient treasure joined our family: the Xoloitzcuintle.
In 2024, together with my friend Alexandra, we welcomed our first litter of Peruvian Hairless Dogs, opening a new chapter in the story of Sun and Shadows.
Today, my home is shared by Peruvian Hairless Dogs, Xoloitzcuintles, and five cherished rescue dogs.
As a breeder, I believe that health, temperament, and breed type are inseparable. My goal is not simply to produce puppies, but to preserve and strengthen these remarkable breeds while honoring the work of the breeders who came before me.
I strive to raise dogs that are equally capable of succeeding in the show ring and becoming beloved family companions.
Most importantly, I do not simply place puppies in homes.
I look for people who understand these breeds, appreciate their uniqueness, and wish to become part of their continuing story.
